Undertaking new projects for the 02 bid section of the south extension line of Wuxi Metro Line 1

Shanghai Yechao assisted China Railway Shanghai Engineering Bureau in the construction of the 02 section of the southern extension of Wuxi Metro Line 1, which is under the protection of the driver.

The left line of the shield tunneling section from Wanda City Station to Nanquan Station on the southern extension of Wuxi Metro Line 1, constructed by China Railway Shanghai Engineering Bureau, has successfully started at the foot of Xuelang Mountain in Wanda Cultural Tourism City. This is another shield tunneling machine starting from the right line on June 16th, and also the last shield tunneling section of Line 1 Phase II project. This shield tunneling marks the comprehensive entry of Line 1 Phase II project into the excavation construction stage.

In order to ensure the smooth launch of the shield tunneling machine, all the employees of Shanghai Yechao Project Department worked together with full enthusiasm in a short period of time to successfully complete the construction process of the shield tunneling machine.

It is reported that the total length of the left line of the shield tunnel section from Wanda City Station to Nanquan Station is about 1555.777 meters. The tunnel passes through soil layers mainly composed of clayey silt and silty clay. A Herrenknecht earth pressure balance shield machine is used for excavation construction, starting from the west end of Wanda City Station. After completing the minimum radius turns of 600 meters and 350 meters in the section, it has now been received.
